Why Pivert exists
Flore and I have been hosting on HomeExchange for years. One night, the fourteenth guest of the month asked again for the Wifi code at 11:47pm, on a number that shouldn't have been theirs. That's when I knew I needed something else.
I'm a developer. I wanted my guests to have a real arrival experience. Not a PDF lost at the bottom of a booking email. Not an ugly Word document sitting on the welcome table. All the information about the house, easy to find, in print and digital.
I looked at what was out there. Nothing had the feel I had in mind. The tools on the market are built for operators stacking features, not for someone who just wants a guidebook done right for their guests.
So I built it for us. And now I'm opening it to other hosts.
You write your guide once. Pivert translates it automatically. You share it as a web link, a QR code, a printable PDF. You update it on a Sunday evening, when the Wifi changes.
Pivert has been in construction since April 2026. The first hosts who test it shape what comes next. If you welcome your guests with care, we'd like to hear from you.
How it works
Pivert is designed from the guest side first. What your guests receive, how they read it, when they pull it out of their phone. The host side comes next — a few minutes to create a guide, two clicks to update it.
Your guests read in their own language.
Pivert translates your guide automatically. Your guests read in their own language, without you spending an evening on translation. You proofread the version that matters. You publish.

Your home, your guide.
Your colors, your photos, your listing name. The guide looks like your home, not like a template copied across other listings in the neighborhood. If you run a gîte in Lourmarin and a studio in Lille, both guides have their own distinct identity.

The guide on the phone in three seconds.
Your guests scan the QR on arrival. The guide opens on their phone without installation, without an account to create, without a slow loading page. If they come back to it the next morning for the bakery's opening hours, it's still there. Offline too.

A printed guide on the welcome table.
Phones run out of charge, break, stay in the car. The printable PDF keeps your guide accessible when the digital fails. Seven A4 pages, two languages side by side, ready to print. Sitting next to the keys, it's the first thing your guests see.

We guide you, you answer.
No blank page, no settings to figure out. We ask questions about your home, you add your photos, and the guide takes shape as you go. When it's done, you share it.

Who Pivert is for
For hosts who personalize the welcome. You host on HomeExchange, on Airbnb, on Booking, or through direct bookings — often a bit of each. You see your guests as people spending a few nights with you, not as a line in a spreadsheet.
Pivert speaks several languages. Your guests come from all over Europe, your guide follows them.
Your data stays yours
Your keysafe codes, your Wifi codes, the private numbers you put in your guide: all of it stays encrypted in the database. You're the only person with access. Hosted in Europe on Supabase, with encryption at rest and in transit. We document what we store and where.
